Here are some details of the construction of "Ex-Car-Ceration"

This is the space I made for a licence plate. So I started to look around at the bike parts for something I could use to make numbers.

Ah ha! Under a bunch of seats there are these perfect steel rails I can use.

A little disassemble..

...and into the gas forge they go.

Nice and hot and then...

...straighten them out.

Ok, three pieces should be plenty.

Cutting hot metal is easy with this tool on the anvil

A quick layout on the concrete board to guide me.

Everything is welded from the back and test fitted. After it's trimmed and welded into place it's all done.
